Tax Incentives For US Meeting Planners

A Bahamas-US agreement called the Tax Information Exchange Agreement (TIEA), is luring more corporations here for business conferences and trade shows. Signed in 2002, the TIEA allows US corporations to choose the Bahamas as their venue for meetings and conventions and get a cost-of-doing-business tax deduction from the US Internal Revenue Service.

DEPOSIT, PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY: 20% deposit is required when you book your reservation. Full payment is due 21 days prior to arrival.   Cancellations and reservation changes within 21 days of arrival date are subject to a 3 night penalty.Cancellations during the Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, Easter and July 4th Independence Holiday periods are subject to a 7 night penalty and full payment is due 30 days prior to arrival.   Visa, Master Card & American Express accepted.
